September 22, 2025

The autumnal equinox arrives on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 2:19 P.M. EDT, bringing with it the end of summer, the beginning of fall and the onset of Libra season.

Astronomically, an equinox occurs when the sun crosses the equator. The term combines the Latin word aequi, meaning “equal,” with nox, meaning “night,” as on this day of days, the hours of light and darkness are equal.

OVER 10% thresh hold:

Do you have a SHOUT OUT for a fellow colleague?

From Anonymous:  Hesper's leadership and support for Red 7 continues to direct our team towards excellence.  I continue to learn from her and her heart for her students and am grateful to work alongside her.

Morgan J: Violet Orchard is a go-getter, takes initiative, is supportive of our students and their interests, and a true team player. We're lucky to have her!

Leah C: To Laura Joy for always keeping us up to date on withdraws and enrollments. It is a crazy in and out of students all year long and she does an amazing job.

From Anonymous: Christy B. brings enthusiasm and excellence to MEMS.  She is often here far before and after school working for her students and has already become critical team member for Red 7 in just a month.  We are grateful you are her.

From Val: A shout out to Kristin Brown for making the start of the new year a great deal less stressful for assisting with our specialized programs being short on staff.  Thanks for helping us make it work!
