The full September moon in 2025 is known as the Corn Moon because it occurs when corn is traditionally harvested in North America. This year, the Corn Moon coincides with a total lunar eclipse in other parts of the world and will be visible in the eastern sky after sunset on Sunday, September 7th, 2025. While the term "Harvest Moon" refers to the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox, which will occur in October 2025 for the Northern Hemisphere, the September full moon is still called the Corn Moon due to the timing of the corn harvest!

When we hit the 10% threshold, I will then need to deny. It is very helpful when you secure a sub.
From Val: I would like to give a shout out to Jordan for stepping in to the role of BSP teacher. He is teaching and interacting with the kids in a very positive light. Also, I would like to thank Sara and Vicky for always being here with a smile on their faces. I couldn't do this without you.
From Liv: Thank you Molly for always being such a great mentor! We work and plan so well together and I'm very grateful for you!
From Christy B: This is for Izi Meyer! You have been crushing it in the science classroom the last few weeks! We are so grateful and appreciate your hard work to step in for colleagues! You show up each day with a smile, a positive attitude, and teach our students with such grace! We are so lucky to have you here at MEMS!
From Anonymous: Mikkel, Ellen, Maria for good vibes, love seeing your faces everyday!
From Anonymous: Beth Criley is a constant for Red 7. Her encouragement and support, including her focus on critical data points for the observation and direction in our instruction is nothing short of amazing. I am grateful to have her as a colleague.
From Anonymous: Sara B has a kindness that is prevalent in all she does. Her work with the inclusion club, as well as ensuring that all students feel welcome and at home at MEMS encourages me daily. Thank you Sara for this example!!
