THANK YOU MEMS SS, SCIENCE and ELA TEACHERS!
We appreciate your willingness to have Dr. Taylor come into your classrooms and work with you. More importantly, we appreciate your attention and collaboration to improving student learning!

GOALS:
ELA: The percent of students scoring below mastery in reading for information on the AASA English Language Arts assessment will decrease by a minimum of 10% from the 2024-25 SY. We have the opportunity to identify specific areas to target by analyzing the AASA blueprint and aligning our tier 1 units to the DOK level of AASA in all content areas.
MATH: Mount Elden Middle School student will increase student proficiency by 10% in math on the AASA math assessment the 2024-25 SY. We have the opportunity to identify specific areas to target by analyzing the AASA blueprint and aligning our tier 1 units to the DOK level of AASA.
As we are moving through the second semester please implement the following. If you already do this THANK YOU!
- Release student at the end of class on the bell. Please do not have them line up. There are many things you can have them do until the bell. Please review activities in the T-Bird Canvas course or reach out to the Lynn for closing activities.
- Please have a routine for students the minute your class begins. Please do not release students to use the restroom or water fountain as they have 4 minutes between classes. Please discuss with your classes for them to use the facitlities at passing. Students have plenty of time between classes.
