Please be at your duty on time.

Please manage students and ensure safety.

If you cannot do your duty it is your responsibility to find coverage.

Please ensure that your flag/flags meet the requirements below by Wednesday!

U.S. Flag Display

A United States flag shall be displayed in each classroom and on or near the outside of the school building during school hours. Classrooms are defined as any room students may occupy when the Pledge of Allegiance is recited at the beginning of the school day. It is recommended that U.S. flags also be displayed in common areas (gym, library, auditorium, etc.)
The flags must be manufactured in the United States, be at least 2x3 feet, and use appropriate hardware.
Other flags should be approximately equal size or smaller than the U.S. flag.
No other flag or pennant should be placed above, or if on the same level, to the right of the U.S. Flag (the flag's own right). When flying two flags on the same staff, the U.S. flag should always be on top.
A specific time is set aside each day for students who wish to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

Period of Silence

A period of silence shall be observed at the beginning of each day that lasts for at least one minute, but not more than two minutes. Teachers are required to encourage parents to speak with their children about how to use this time, but teachers may not make their own suggestions for how students use the period of silence. To comply with the law, teachers may use the language below to instruct students and parents on the moment of silence at the beginning of each school year.

Communication Tools in FUSD/MEMS

Please be sure you are using our tools effectively and your canvas courses are up and running. As a reminder the district required Canvas courses are to used with students. Canvas houses your assignments, course content etc. You should be able to shift seamlessly to online teaching utilizing your Canvas course.

E-Mail Etiquette- We all receive an enormous amount of emails and information daily. When sending out an email to staff please use the bcc method: put your name in the TO; line then the FUSD-xMEMS in the bcc line. This way when someone responds to you it only goes to you and not everyone else. Please do not Reply ALL, unless it is relevant information for everyone. Thank you!

Please use the memsstaff2526 for school site emails instead of the FUSDX-MEMS. The first group is our building staff and excludes coaches and referees.
