STATE TESTING DAYS ARE OVER!!!!!!
Thank you for all of your attention to the importance of this test.  We had very few testing improprieties.  That is due to your dedication and attention.  Our students worked hard, and so did you!  Thank you again.

Collaboration time sheet. You MUST use this timesheet for collaboration.

GOALS:

ELA:  The percent of students scoring below mastery in reading for information on the AASA English Language Arts assessment will decrease by a minimum of 10% from the 2024-25 SY.  We have the opportunity to identify specific areas to target by analyzing the AASA blueprint and aligning our tier 1 units to the DOK level of AASA in all content areas.

MATH:  Mount Elden Middle School student will increase student proficiency by 10% in math on the AASA math assessment the 2024-25 SY.  We have the opportunity to identify specific areas to target by analyzing the AASA blueprint and aligning our tier 1 units to the DOK level of AASA.

TO GIVE A STAFF A SHOUT OUT!

From Tammy N: A HUGE shout out to Marie Olsen, Sara McDermott, Dr. Fletcher-Lambert, all the helpers and all the students who performed at the Variety Show. It was an amazing event!

From Anonymous: Thanks to Ms. Billie and Mrs. Murdock for helping to address the 8th grade failing list. It’s truly inspiring to see you guys coming together to support students who are struggling in one or more classes. When we unite as champions for education, we create a powerful force for student success. Together, we are stronger—and our impact is greater.

From Anonymous: I am very grateful for the Sped Team here at MEMS.  Kristin is a phenomenal leader and the entire team works to pull together to make specially designed instruction happen with excellence.  Thank you!

From Nick A: Huge shoutout to everyone who came in during their preps and/or sent their student teachers to help out with the math battle. We could not have done it without all of you there.

Teacher on assignment position: Per Superintendent Penca's email, we will not be filling the assistant principal position next year. We are being reduced .5 administrative positions for the 25-26 school year. We will be posting a TOA (teacher on assignment) position. This will be posted internally only. We feel it is important to have someone who will be on campus full time in a .5 teaching .5 TOA (admin) position. If you are interested in being on the hiring committee please email Tammy.
